Where are your locations?

Economy Storage facilities are conveniently located in and around Chippewa Falls. Find a location.

Do I have to sign a long term contract?

No. Our term is month-to-month and your lease automatically renews until you vacate your unit.

Do I get a discount if I commit to a longer term lease?

Talk to one of our Property Managers for possible long term discounts.

How do I pay for my self-storage unit?

We accept cash, check, money orders, and Visa, MasterCard and Discover. You can pay at our Main Office, mail in your check or money order to the main office, or leave your check or money order in the Drop Box at the main office (please no cash via mail or drop box).

Is a security deposit required?

We do require a security deposit of up to $50 depending on the size of the storage unit.

Is there a monthly invoice for my storage unit?

No. There are no monthly statements or invoicing for unit rental at any Economy Storage location.

When is my rent due?

All rent is due by close of business (4:30 pm, Central Time) on the 1st day of every month. Tenants are granted a grace period until close of business on the 7th day of each month.

Is there anything I can not store in my storage unit?

Yes. Due to local and in some cases Federal law, you are not permitted to store:

  • Flammable or explosive gases or liquids
  • Paints, stains, or other chemicals
  • Illegal or controlled drugs or other compounds

Do you provide a lock for the storage space?

No. We do not provide a lock when you lease a storage unit, and we do not have nor require a key to your unit. You can purchase a new, sealed lock at our main office, and no one else has a key to that lock.

Can I access my storage unit whenever I want to?

Yes. All of our locations provide access to your unit 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We also plow all of our locations throughout the winter to make sure you will always have access to your units.

Do you also offer packing and moving supplies?

No. We currently do not offer supplies other than sealed padlocks for our units.

How do I determine what size storage unit I need?

We have a very diverse range of storage units to meet just about any possible storage needs. Review our Storage Units section to get a general idea of the dimensions of our units. When you are ready, we can arrange a personal tour of available units.
